Free while in beta - No user limit

Your Notion dates,
in your calendar.

Two-way sync between a Notion database and Google Calendar. Setup takes about 5 minutes, including choosing what to share in Notion.

Notion Calendar is free and great for viewing your Notion dates. DateRelay is for when those dates need to live in a real Google Calendar that your team, your phone and your other apps already read.

How it works

1. Connect Google and Notion

Sign in with Google, then authorize Notion. On Notion's Select pages screen, pick the database you want to sync (or a page above it). DateRelay only ever sees what you select there.

2. Choose your database and calendar

Pick the Notion database, its date property and the Google Calendar. Map extra fields like description or location if you want.

3. It stays in sync

Changes flow both ways automatically. Edit in Notion or in Google Calendar; the other side catches up.

FAQ

Is the sync truly 2-way?

Yes. Create an event in Google Calendar and it appears in your Notion database. Edit a date in Notion and it updates in your calendar. Both directions are fully supported.

Why don't I see my database?

Databases only show up here after you share them with DateRelay.

  • During authorization, use Notion's Select pages picker to include the database (or a page above it).
  • Already authorized? In Notion, open the database → ••• → Connections → DateRelay.
  • Pick the source database, not a linked view — linked views never appear here.
  • The database needs at least one Date property.

What happens if I edit in both places?

DateRelay uses last-write-wins conflict resolution. The most recently edited version takes priority. In practice, this rarely causes issues since edits typically happen on one side at a time.

How fast does the sync happen?

During beta, everyone gets 1-minute polling, so changes flow both ways within a minute. After beta, Free checks for changes every 15 minutes while Pro keeps every minute. DateRelay checks both Notion and Google Calendar on that schedule rather than waiting for either side to push.

Is my data safe?

Your Google and Notion credentials are encrypted at rest in an access-controlled database, are never shared or sold, and you can revoke DateRelay's access at any time from your Google Account or from Notion. DateRelay only reads the Notion pages you explicitly share with it.

Can I sync multiple databases?

Yes. During beta everyone gets unlimited syncs, so connect as many Notion databases to as many calendars as you want. After beta, Free will cover 1 database sync while paid plans keep unlimited.
